When I first learned about co-design, it completely shifted the way I understood design itself. It grounded me. It reminded me that real design doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens with people, with their voices, their needs, their frustrations, and their brilliance. Co-design teaches you how little you actually know, and how much more meaningful the work becomes when you're building alongside others.

This template was born out of that realization. It's a flexible visual tool to support honest, collaborative work. Use it to structure workshops, map systems, or just hold space for ideas that come from real conversations. It’s not perfect, and that’s the point. It reflects the messy, beautiful process of designing with—not just for—communities. Feel free to use it, remix it, and make it part of your own shared design journey.
